To allow a student to schedule a proctoring appointment outside of the configured testing window set in Examity, an instructor needs to complete both of the following steps:

Step 1:  Email Examity Support with Individual Testing Details

To schedule an individual student exam outside the configured testing window, send an email to the student and copy

Include the following information in your email:

  • Subject Line:  UL Lafayette - Permission Granted to Schedule Outside Testing Window – [Student Name]

  • Course Name (in Examity)

  • Exam Name (in Examity)

  • The new window of time the student can schedule their appointment.

In the email, please ask the student to call the Examity support desk at 855-392-6489, option 1 and a support agent will be able to help schedule the student.

Step 2:  Individual Testing Settings in Moodle or 3rd party Testing Site

You will need to ensure that the actual exam, whether located in Moodle or in a 3rd party testing site, is also set to provide the student with the approved accommodations.

  • Accommodations must also be set up in Moodle (or 3rd party testing site).

  • In Moodle, Add a User Override to allow extra time or an alternate testing window.

  • For 3rd party testing sites, contact vendor support for their procedures.
