Tracking student progress is an important part of any activity or resource, including H5P activities. All H5P activities are not meant to be graded or tracked by Activity Settings or Attempt Options. Below is a list of the H5P activities that can be graded or tracked through Activity Completion or Attempt Options.
Gradebook

Activity Settings
The H5P Activities will give grades with different conditions.
H5P content types that supports completion tracking can be automatically tracked as completed in Moodle, by enabling ”Showing activity as completed” and then selecting ”Student must receive a grade to complete this activity." Activity completion is located in Edit Settings once the H5P content is added to the Moodle course.
Attempt Options
Some H5P provide attempt tracking data for advanced reporting such as number of attempts, responses and grades.
Once the Attempt options have been enabled you can view user attempts by clicking on the H5P activity in Moodle and select View all attempts
To view a detailed report on a specific user, select the link under the attempts column - View User Attempts.
This will give you a detailed report on that user with the highest score and some H5P activities will give you a detailed report of all questions answered. To view the detailed report, select View report.
