Teachers and students can humanize their discussions by directly recording videos in Forums. Recording must be 2 minutes or less.
1. Adding a Discussion Topic
- Click on the Forum activity and select Add discussion topic
- Type your name in the Subject area
- In the Message area, select the video recorder
- NOTE: Any text box in Moodle will have the same options for recording (including Assignments)
- Click the Start recording button and begin your video (2 minutes)
- Stop the recording when complete, either Record again or Attach recording.
2. Reply to Another Forum Post With Video
- To reply to someone else's forum post with a video, select Reply, then Advanced link, and click the record button to record your reply the same as above.
