The five courses that comprise the Certificate of Online Teaching are sequenced, and you must complete them in the following order:
- Essentials of Online Course Design
- Interactive and Open Educational Course Content
- Introduction to Instructional Video Production
- Online Course Delivery
- Certificate of Online Teaching Capstone Project
Once you have completed the "Essentials" course, the system will allow you to move forward to the next course--"Interactive and Open Educational Course Content." You will do this by following these steps:
1. Go to the final activity in the Essentials course, which is called Next Steps.
2. Click on the link to access the next course. This will take you to a landing page for the course.
3. On the course landing page, self-enroll in the course by clicking the Join Now button. This will enroll you in the course and take you directly to the course page. You will now see both courses listed in the Courses menu.
4. Repeat this step to get to the third, fourth, and fifth courses.
