How to Configure ProctorU for Moodle Quizzes

Prior to configuring online proctoring through ProctorU, please make sure the you have already created your Moodle Quiz(zes). Quizzes must have the following settings configured in Moodle:
- Open Date (must be at the 0, 15, 30, or 45 minute mark after the hour)
- Close Date (must be at the 0, 15, 30, or 45 minute mark after the hour)
- Time Limit
- Password
1. Click on Turn editing on
2. Click on Add an activity or resource
3. Click on ProctorU 1.3
4. Click on Select content
5. Click on Unproctored Exams
6. Check the box next to the Moodle Quiz you want to configure for proctoring
7. Click on Configure Exam to be proctored
ℹ️ Continue through the prompted steps to complete the configuration, clicking Next on each screen once you are ready to move to the next step. You'll notice that several of your Quiz configuration details will be pre-populated in ProctorU.
8. Click on Next
9. If you wish to use Automated (AI) proctoring for the exam, select Automated (Record +) from Department dropdown field. For testing sessions monitored by a live proctor (Live +), select one of the other options in the Department field that would be appropriate to your subject.
10. Select Allow Selected Options on the Allowances screen to specify any resources that your students may use during the quiz.
11. (Optional) If you need to specify and testing accommodations for individual students, click on Open Accomodations Form in a New Tab and complete the accommodation details
12. Click on Next
13. Once you have completed the quiz configuration, review your settings and then click on Save Configurations
14. Click on the Proctored Exams tab, and you will see your newly configured quiz.
15. Click on the Setting icon and then select Insert Link
16. Click the Save and return to course button
